The State of Bozeman Real Estate Amidst COVID-19

Real estate has been deemed essential business by Governor Bullock, which has given us the license to continue to transact in real estate; supporting our friends, families and clients in this time of change and uncertainty. This is truly an amazing blessing as we are an essential component in assisting the financial health of our community and nation. With this freedom, we also have a tremendous responsibility to act judiciously and limit activities and movements to minimize exposure and transmission of this epoch virus.

We’ve been staying home and observing the varied responses to COVID-19 carefully. We've found our footing in this time to ensure that we are supporting our clients and friends in this ever-changing environment; whilst doing our part to stop the spread of COVID-19. In this time, we know Erin has taken many moments of thanks that she has been able to revel in this time home with her husband.

In this virtual age amazing tools like Zoom, FaceTime, and What’sApp enable virtual meetings, and allow us to share properties with you, without risk. We have programs like DotLoop and ZipForm that permit us to digitally prepare contracts and facilitate signatures with a click of a mouse. Matterport allows us to create 3D tours of listings so potential buyers can imagine their experience in a listing, no matter the time or situation. These are amazing tools and we will utilize every one of them to help our clients.

Conceivably after all the cleaning, organizing, and time at home exploring lost hobbies and passions it has become clear that their really just isn’t enough space in your current property, and it is time to upsize. Perhaps the pressure of a job loss is creating insecurity and a lower house payment is necessary. Whatever drives you, the Bozeman market is the same. Inventory is limited making it an amazing time to list your home, but more competitive when securing a replacement property. Thankfully interest rates are still hovering at historic lows, improving buying power. It has always been our experience at HōM 406, if the time is right for you to make a move the right property will be waiting.

In the interim, we hope you'll enjoy dinner (likely prepared by your own hands) around your kitchen table, sofa snuggles while you binge on a previously undiscovered series, living room exercise with the whole family engaged and really the best co-workers ever… your kids and pets!
