Bozeman trick-or-treats rain, snow, or shine (weekday or weekend) on October 31 every year.
The changing fall-to-winter weather nearly guarantees a Halloween snowstorm.
Bundled ghouls, princesses, and super hero's travel door-to-door shivering with anticipatory Halloween delight! While our hearty Montana kids are built to withstand the seasons, there are indoor options if they’d prefer to showcase their costumes instead of their new winter coats.
Neighborhood trick-or-treating begins at dusk and wraps up about 8:00-8:30 pm. The universal welcome signal for trick-or-treaters is a turned-on porch light. Some homes will leave a bowl on the porch and rely on the honor system. Share with your neighbors, and just take one.
Businesses open their doors to trick-or-treaters from 4:00 pm to 6:00 pm. This welcoming event is a safe way to showcase your kiddo's costumes. Please be mindful and keep the doors clear for shoppers that would like to pop into the local shops during this time.
